Founded by Tawayna Nicole in 2016, Girl Power Gems was born from more than just an idea, it was born from a life lived, battles fought, and victories claimed. After years of navigating heartbreak, self-doubt, and the heavy weight of trauma, I realized something powerful: healing isn’t a destination, it’s a journey. And that journey begins when you decide to put yourself first.

Girl Power Gems exists to guide young and mature women through that same awakening to face their pain without shame, embrace the strength that’s been there all along, and step fully into the beauty of who they are. Through The Gem Journey Program, as well as our apparel and accessories, we spread a message of healing, self-love, and unapologetic self-expression.

Every Gem represents a woman who dared to look within, polish the parts of herself dulled by life, and shine brighter than ever before. Here, we believe every woman is worthy, worthy of love, worthy of her dreams, and worthy of every good thing life has to offer.
